Grimes has been through so much since he came to our rescue but keeps proving how resilient rescue dogs are. He has stolen everyone at the rescue’s hearts, along with his Facebook and Instagram fans that have followed his story. The rescue pulled him from the euthanasia list of a local shelter, and he had a severely injured eye. Shortly after coming to the rescue, he had surgery to remove his eye. After he healed from that, we thought he was ready to find his forever home, but then he came down with a serious infection, and it wasn’t looking good for the poor guy; however, a whole bunch of people rallied and prayed and helped him pull through. He is a silly, playful, loving boy! He loves to chase his four-legged foster brothers and snuggle on the couch with his foster mama! He is the biggest love bug! He also goes to work with his foster mama and is a wonderful office dog! He loves everyone he meets! Grimes has a best friend in his foster home named Nellie, and they are thick as thieves. We would love to see this dynamic duo find a home together, but we know that may not be possible. He will do fine adopted out separately; however, they provide endless entertainment for each other and are the cutest pair!
